Rena Hizuki Character Guide

Rena Hizuki is one of Qliphah's two playable leads — a lethal investigator from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Public Safety Department, Foreign Affairs Fifth Division, commonly known as the Public Safety Mutation Response Division. In a city choking on reality-shattering contamination, she is the one who picks up the cases nobody else can touch: the demonic narcotic Tiny True flooding the streets, the Stigma glyphs carving themselves into the city's youth, and the cult pulling strings from the shadows.

Rena rescues Soma Hoshigami after he is brutally attacked by an Aberration and left in a fractured, Half-turned state — and takes him into custody not as a citizen, but as ‘lost property’. That cold procedural framing against Soma’s humanity is the tension the story runs on: the Grand Scenario’s choices and bad endings pivot on how their partnership develops across the five-day countdown.

Rena is the precision half of the duo’s Tactical Counter-Timeline combat. Her kit rewards reading the timeline carefully — programming skills to shatter enemy offensives, Perfect Guarding incoming attacks, and punishing with counters. Achievements like Tactician (15 Battle Skills), Impenetrable Defense (a Perfect Guard) and Untouchable (250 Counter Attacks) map naturally onto her disciplined play pattern.

The two leads fight as a unit: Perfect Synchronization (100 Buddy Counters) tracks their joint counters, and Reliable Support (50 ally buffs) rewards covering your partner.
