Region 1: Shibuya

Shibuya is where reality is tearing fastest. In the wake of the Collapse, the district's streets twist into Search Areas and Battle Sites patrolled by grotesque entities the game calls Anomalies. This is where Rena Hizuki of the Public Safety Mutation Response Division works her cases — and where most of your early investigation of the demonic narcotic Tiny True happens.

The in-game map marks three kinds of points in Shibuya: Key Areas that push the story forward, Search Areas you sweep for evidence and materials, and Battle Sites where Anomalies wait. Every point of interest shows its recommended enemy level and skill drop rate before you commit, so a quick glance at the map tells you whether a detour is worth your remaining countdown time.

A Time Until Collapse counter hangs over the whole campaign — five days from the opening chapter. Time advances through story beats and district expeditions, not in real time, but the clock is the reason to clear high-value Search Areas early: you want your Skill Palette stocked before the late chapters lock districts down.

Shibuya Battle Sites scale quickly past the opening hours. Before pushing into orange-level sites, customize your Skill Palette at a rest point — the palette you build decides which skills your controlled character can fire from the timeline, and the All-Out Attack and Skill Master achievements both reward a well-drilled palette.

The early chapters run through Shibuya as Rena and Soma investigate where Tiny True is being distributed. The mission tracker (Ampoule Materials — Investigate Brahman's harm) is one of the first multi-step objectives: it sends you across Search Areas, then pays off with a Battle Site encounter. Completing investigation threads also feeds the Evidence Board, which tracks your progress toward the Truth Seeker achievement.
